Coolmax

Coolmax is the brand name for a series of polyesters developed and marketed by Invista (formerly Dupont Textiles).

Coolmax is "moisture-wicking" and "breathable". It is partially hydrophobic, so absorbs little fluid and dries quickly especially when compared to absorbent fibres such as cotton. The non-round fibres have an increased surface area, aiding the fibres natural wicking ability through capillary effect.
